Sañjaya
Sañjaya is the charioteer-minister granted divine sight by Vyāsa so he can witness and report the Kurukṣetra war to the blind king Dhṛtarāṣṭra. He narrates the entire Gītā dialogue at one remove; the closing chapter returns to his voice describing what he has seen and heard.

The eighteen Sanskrit chapters are imported reproducibly from Sanskrit Wikisource under CC BY-SA 4.0. Every chapter is pinned to an exact revision ID, timestamp, source SHA-1, raw SHA-256, and generated-shard SHA-256 in the public manifest.

The pinned Wikisource chapters follow a 700-verse Śaṅkara-aligned sequence. This reader adds the attested Arjuna question before its Chapter 13 as 13.1, yielding the explicitly declared 701-verse presentation and shifting the source chapter's 34 verses to 13.2–13.35.

Speaker rubrics are stored separately from the metrical Sanskrit instead of being inconsistently counted as part of a verse. Invocation boilerplate, chapter headings, wiki markup, and printed verse numbers are excluded from the verse text by a deterministic importer.
